Mission Statement and Board Member Information

Mission Statement

We, the members of the Chagrin Valley Figure Skating Club hereby pledge to carry out this mission statement to encourage all levels and disciplines of figure skating in a fun and sportsmanlike atmosphere.

The focus of the Chagrin Valley Figure Skating Club is:

    To operate under the guidelines and policies of the US Figure Skating.

    To provide programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating.

    To neither tolerate nor condone any form of harassment or abuse of its members, including coaches, officials, directors, employees, parents, athletes and volunteers or any other persons while they are under the auspices of the USFS.

    To conduct oneself with common courtesy and respect to all profess ionals, coaches and other skaters whether on or off the ice at all times.
